Gladys Knight Nashville Concert reviews
Unique
I enjoyed seeing and hearing a legend on stage, each act was completely different. KWS was changing his guitars after every song, showcasing his talent as his fingers worked each string. His choice of songs, however, was all over the place, ranging from blues to country to rock. They played only two blues songs, which was disappointing considering I thought I was going to a blues concert. Gladys Knight was a trip, with his band being down to earth and just playing, backing up Mr. Guy without any showboating. The musicians were excellent in their own right, improvising as the blues is played, free falling and going with the flow. Buddy should have played longer, but I wish the show had started earlier.
